Human Growth Foundation is calling on all ages and leashed pets to Step Up and Walk on Sunday, April 21, 2013 from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm at Flushing Meadows Park (Fountain of the Planets) in Corona, NY. The event will feature entertainment for all ages, community vendors, giveaways, and awards to Top Fundraising Walkers and Top Fundraising Teams. Human Growth Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help children and adults with disorders of growth and growth hormone. “We are building awareness of growth hormone deficiency and the funds to continue critical research, education, support and advocacy. It is estimated that 10,000 to 15,000 children in the United States have growth failure due to growth hormone deficiency,” says Human Growth Foundation President Dr. Pisit “Duke” Pitukcheewanont.
